Substitute white flour with its healthier relative by making your own almond flour. Spread out your almond meal on a pan and bake in the oven for three to four hours on the lowest temperature your oven can go. Once the almond meal has been baked and the almonds are crunchy and dry, blend them in a food processor until they are a flour-like consistency. Store your freshly made flour in the freezer until you are ready to use it.
