Weight Loss Medication
Even though caffeine doesn’t cause weight loss directly, lots of weight loss pill manufacturers continue to add it to the ingredient list. Some brands have as much as 300 milligrams of caffeine in their supplements; whereas a cup of coffee typically has around 100 milligrams of caffeine per 8 ounces. It’s possible the stimulant encourages more movement and thus more calorie burn, but an excess of caffeine can cause heart problems, insomnia, and anxiety.
