Two slices of pizza from your local pizzeria is about 450 calories — and that’s without any excess toppings! It would take you 83 minutes of walking or 43 minutes of running just to burn off those two slices. But there is a way to have your pizza and eat it too! By subbing out the most calorie-filled part — the crust — with healthier alternatives, you can enjoy delicious, guilt-free pizza.


Eggplants are low in calories but high in nutrients — one eggplant is only 136 calories and is packed with potassium and vitamins C and B6. Make mini pizzas by slicing the eggplant into two inch pieces and baking at 350°F until they are soft. Then, add on tomato sauce and cheese and bake again until the cheese is melted.
