Running — especially if you don’t really like to exercise — can seem like a daunting feat. But with the right tools and the right attitude, running may become your new favorite activity. Get active and healthy with these tips and tricks to help you start out as a runner.
Remember to Warm Up and Cool Down
Both warm ups and cool downs are essential in the running process. Warming up with some stretches is a great way to flex and warm your muscles before you start putting the pressure on them to run. Additionally, slowing down your pace to a brisk jog or fast walk five minutes before the end of your run is a great way to bring your heartrate down and cool off your body.
