Start Out On Flat Ground
You may want to consider starting out on a flat ground in a gym or on a treadmill. Uneven pavement and potholes can be very hard to run on if you are inexperienced. It can even cause injury. Warm yourself up to the idea of running the right way by making it as easy as possible for yourself.
