Running — especially if you don’t really like to exercise — can seem like a daunting feat. But with the right tools and the right attitude, running may become your new favorite activity. Get active and healthy with these tips and tricks to help you start out as a runner.
Think in Time, Not Distance
It doesn’t matter how many miles you run: all that matters is that you are running. Set a goal to run for five minutes a day or 10 minutes biweekly and make sure to complete that goal. Don’t be concerned with how many miles you ran in that time span: as you get stronger you’ll work your way up to more impressive mileage.
