The average person should be taking around 10,000 steps a day. However, many people that are at a desk job find it hard to get in the recommended number steps each day. If you’re struggling and think you need a little more physical activity in your life, try out some of these easy alternatives.
Walk to Work
If you’re less than a mile from work, leave your car at home and walk instead. From that distance, walking to work could help you get in almost 3,000 steps at the start of your morning. If you are further away from work, get off public transportation a stop or two early and walk the rest of the way.
