Moderate drinking has been found in some studies to improve your longevity. One study found that enjoying one or two drinks during the day could reduce your risk of death by up to 18 percent. But the researchers cautioned that you should drink alcohol in small amounts, preferably at lunch time. Additionally, wine was found to be slightly more beneficial than other alcohols.
