Immunity-Boosting Lemon Coffee

Add a boost to your coffee with vitamin C-rich lemon. The small citrus packs a big punch too with antioxidants, which help boost your immunity and may play a part in lowering your risk of disease and slowing the aging process. And, if you prefer, add a dash of brown sugar to balance out the drink's acidity.

lemon
1 cup water
1/2 cup warm milk
1 oz espresso (or your morning coffee)
brown sugar ( to taste )

Peel, cut, and zest one lemon.

Mix water, lemon zest, and brown sugar.

Boil mixture for 9 minutes. Let cool overnight.

Mix lemon blend with warm milk.

Pour blend into your morning espresso or coffee and enjoy.
