Statement from Lumber Liquidators

Customer safety and satisfaction is Lumber Liquidators' top priority. The Dr. Oz Show segment omitted a number of important facts about our company and our products. First, the Centers for Disease Control, which looked into the laminate in question, recommended that consumers take common-sense steps such as opening their windows and improving ventilation to improve indoor air quality.  The report did not recommend that consumers remove their floors. Additionally, Lumber Liquidators has not sold the Chinese laminate flooring since May 2015, and the company implemented an unprecedented voluntary indoor air testing program.

The Dr. Oz Show never contacted Lumber Liquidators regarding their program. If they had, we would have welcomed the opportunity to point out these relevant facts and explain our commitment to delivering to our customers quality products that are safe and compliant with all requirements.
