The Dr. Oz Show wins Daytime Emmy® Award for the ninth time at the 2018 Daytime Emmy® Awards and the production team takes home Outstanding Informative Talk Show Award.
(Los Angeles, CA) April 30, 2018 – "The Dr. Oz Show" took home the award for Outstanding Informative Talk Show Sunday Evening at the 2018 Daytime Emmy® Awards. This marks the tenth win total for the "The Dr. Oz Show" led by executive producer, Amy Chiaro, and co-executive producers, Stacy Rader and Laurie Rich.
Wrapping up its ninth season, having reached the 1500th episode milestone and having curated over 1500 landmark episodes, The Dr. Oz Show has impacted millions of lives by teaching viewers how to make every day count. Under the direction of Chiaro, The Dr. Oz Show debuted in 2009 with the highest-rated syndication launch in over a decade. Seen around the world in over 118 countries, The Dr. Oz Show has been used as a format to create new original versions of the show in 12 countries.
