These Are the Rules!
These are the rules and you must follow them in order to get healthy, lose or maintain your weight! I spend a lot of time trying to help and offer advice to many of you, but you must follow the rules if you want it to work for you! Below are my rules. If you follow them you will lose/maintain your weight and get healthy – it’s that simple.Always eat breakfast. Eating breakfast fires up your metabolism for the day; you must fuel the fire! Snack in between meals on fruits, veggies, or healthy granola bars! Your stomach should not have to growl at you to get you to snack. If it is, you are slowing down your metabolism! Snacking in between meals is very important!Automate! Eat the same breakfast and lunch 6 days a week at a minimum. It will help keep you on track.Follow my YOU: On a Diet cheat sheet.Always eat lunch and dinner!Drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Ice water is best!Never drink more than 2 alcoholic drinks per day.Exercise for 1 hour everyday even if it’s only walking.Make yourself top priority in your life.Meditate everyday even if it’s only 5 minutes a day to start.Choose to be happy because happiness is a choice.Never eat anything that walks on 4 legs more than one time a week.Find one person whom will support you 100%! If you fall off the wagon this person can help you! Remember to get right back on the wagon with that next meal or snack!Keep busy; you don’t burn calories by sitting around.No more excuses; no more complaining. Focus on what you want, not what you don’t want!Always stay positive. You can always find the “sunny” side to anything if you look hard enough.Lead by example, especially if you have children.Read; knowledge is power!Sing out loud in your car, in the shower, or anywhere you want! Dance whenever you have the chance!Finally keep your shoulders back, head held high, and never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something! Take the word “can’t” out of your vocabulary!
