Famed football-star-turned-television-host Michael Strahan might be one of the busiest people in show business, but despite his busy schedule, Strahan makes sure to snack during the day to stay fueled up and energized.
One of Strahan’s favorite grab-and-go snacks is a simple protein salad cup. To build it, he reaches for:
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Cucumber slices
- Cooked and shredded chicken
- Mozzarella cheese
You can make this your own while still keeping it healthy by adding any extra veggies you want! Strahan makes his by using a plastic cup with a lid and placing a fork in the straw hole. You can make yours with any container you have at home–just pop on a lid and stick it in your bag!
Another quick snack hack that can double as breakfast is Strahan’s egg roll and nuts. A quick way to tell if an egg is hard-boiled or not is to spin the egg. Place a finger on the spinning egg, and if the egg continues to spin, the egg isn’t boiled. If the spinning egg stops, then the egg has boiled. Prep this breakfast bite in a sandwich bag with:
- 2 hard-boiled eggs
- Handful of chopped walnuts or your choice of nuts
