Healthy Holiday Smoothie

Eating salty and fattening meals, drinking more alcohol than usual, stressing out from travel and spending time with relatives can create a recipe for disaster. Luckily, you can reduce your risk by making healthy diet choices. Before heading out to your next holiday party, try drinking this smoothie, packed with healthy fat, carbs, and protein, to keep you fuller longer so you're less likely to overindulge once you get there.
- 1 cup almond milk
- 2 tbsp nuts or seeds
- 1/2 banana
- 1/4 cup leftover canned pumpkin (if you don't have any, use the rest of other half of the banana)
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1. Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
