The 10-Day Tummy Tox Baked Halibut

2 5-oz. boneless halibut fillets
1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tsp lemon zest
1/2 lemon (squeezed juice)
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Dash of sea salt
Dash of fresh ground black pepper

1. Preheat oven to 400ºF.

 

2. In a large nonstick baking dish, add halibut with skin side down and drizzle with oil.

 

3. Top with garlic, lemon zest, and 2 tablespoons of juice and parsley, dividing evenly. Season with sea salt and pepper.

 

4. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until halibut flakes easily when tested with a fork.

 

5. Drizzle with remaining lemon juice and serve.
