Anne Burrell's Sparkling Cocktail

Chef Anne Burrell, host of the Food Network's "Worst Cooks in America," drinks all white wine with ice cubes. She likes to say the ice turns it into a big-girl soda — with Aperol (an Italian aperitif made from bitter orange and rhubarb), prosecco, and a lemon twist. This recipe for an icy sparkler is all bubbles and taste. A toast is in order!

ice cubes
1 oz Aperol
5 oz prosecco
lemon twist

1. Fill a large white wine glass about halfway with ice cubes.

 

2. Add the Aperol to the wine glass, then the prosecco. Top with a twist.
