Created by nutritionist Kellyann Petrucci, this recipe calls for a ripe avocado, olive oil, and a few simple seasonings - that's it! You can customize your "butter" any way you like it to create a spread all your own. Try it on a baked potato, a slice of toast, or alongside your morning eggs for a healthy dose of healthy fat.

  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp granulated onion
  • 1/4 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 medium Hass avocado
  • 1 tsp lime juice

Directions

1. Place oil, salt, and seasoning in food processor and process until oil is soft and creamy.

2. Add peeled and pitted avocado and lime juice.

3. Process until smooth and oil is thoroughly combined with avocado.
