Banana Cardamom Pancakes

These nutritious pancakes are not only made up of wholesome ingredients but can also promote good digestive health. Made up of bananas that are packed with fiber and cardamom to cool your digestive "agni" or fire, you will find yourself staying fuller longer and experiencing less acid reflux, diarrhea, and inflammation.


  • 3 eggs
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
  • 2 tbsp coconut flour
  • 2 tsp lemon zest
  • cooking spray


1. In a blender combine all ingredients and process until smooth and well combined.


2. Heat a nonstick pan or griddle, add a touch of cooking spray and ladle out about 1/4 cup per pancake. Cook on medium heat and flip when bubbles form on the top - be careful flipping the pancakes, they are a little fragile and work best when small). Cook 1 - 2 more minutes on the flip side, until golden brown.


3. Serve sprinkled with a few berries.
