Bloat-Busting Chopped Salad

Diuretics help remove excess water from your system. In order to get rid of your bloat and water weight eat natural diuretics like spinach, celery, cucumbers, celery, and melon to help. Dr. Pina LoGiudice recommends this salad as the perfect bloat-busting lunch or dinner.


  • 3 cups baby spinach
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 2 cups cucumber slices
  • 1 cup asparagus, blanched and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups diced melon
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • pinch of freshly ground pepper


1. Combine all vegetables and melon into a bowl. 


2. Dress with lemon juice, olive oil, and pepper.
