Candice Kumai's Matcha Green Tea Smoothie

The umami flavor (which is a savory taste) in matcha makes it the perfect addition for a fruit smoothie. Whip up this smoothie quickly for a delicious and creamy on-the-go breakfast or snack. 

1 1/2 cups unsweetened coconut water
2 tbsp coconut shavings or coconut milk
2 cups baby spinach
1/2 frozen banana
2 tsp matcha powder
1 cup ice

1. Add ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
