2 tbsp Country Crock® Spread 1/2 cup fresh whole grain bread crumbs 1/3 cup chopped walnuts 2 tbsp flax seeds 8 oz elbow macaroni 1 1/2 cups 2% milk 1/4 cup Country Crock® Spread 2 tbsp flour 1 1/2 cups shredded reduced fat cheddar cheese
For TOPPING: Melt the 2 Tbsp. Country Crock® Spread in large nonstick skillet over medium heat and cook bread crumbs, walnuts and flax seeds, stirring, until toasted, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
For MAC 'N CHEESE: Cook pasta in large pot according to package directions. Meanwhile, whisk milk, the 1/4 cup of Spread and flour in large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, whisking frequently. Reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 5 minutes. Stir in cheese until melted; remove from heat.
Drain pasta; return to pot and toss with sauce. Sprinkle servings evenly with topping.
