Dr. Tieraona Low Dog included astragalus powder in her smoothie recipe to help patients cope with stress and stay alert throughout the day.
- 1 cup almond milk, soy milk, or low-fat cow’s milk
- 3/4 cup Greek yogurt, vanilla or strawberry
- 1/2 cup strawberries, peaches, mangos or other favorite fruit
- 1 banana
- 1-2 tsp astragalus powder
Put ingredients in blender and puree. You can use frozen fruits to make the drink colder. Serves 2.
