Extra Dirty Chai Mushroom Latte

Healthy living expert Talia Pollock puts a spin on a dirty chai latte with the additional of mushroom powder to make it "extra dirty." This drink has less caffeine than the average cup of coffee due to espresso and the spices in chai tea help with digestion. Try swapping your average cup of joe out with this quick and easy recipe. 


  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk
  • 1 chai tea bag
  • 1 shot of espresso
  • 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tbsp mushroom powder
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of cardamom (optional)
  • pinch of ginger (optional)


1. Simmer the almond milk in a small saucepan with chai tea bag. Whisk the bag around a little until the milk starts to change color, then remove it from the heat.


2. Add chai milk mixture into your blender with the rest of the ingredients and blend until everything is combined. Pour into a mug and enjoy.
