1. Combine freekeh, water, milk, salt and cinnamon in a medium saucepan.
2. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer and cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 25 minutes. Stir in the maple syrup.3. Divide the cooked freekeh between two bowls. Top with dried cherries and pistachios.Serve immediately.
