Fruity Chia Protein Shake

Not only does this shake pack a fruity punch, it is also loaded with vitamins and nutrients. According to the USDA, one ounce of chia seeds contains 11 grams of dietary fiber, 4 grams of protein and 18% of the daily recommended intake of calcium. A quarter cup of chia seeds is equivalent to 1.4 ounces.   

1 cup milk
1/2 cup diced watermelon
1/4 cup raspberries
1/2 cup diced pineapple
1/4 cup chia seeds
2 scoops protein powder

Blend ingredients until smooth.

Makes 2 servings.
