If straight tequila is a little bit too much for you, then opt for this refreshing cocktail. The addition of the grapefruit juice makes this drink sweet and sour, and the ginger gives it a final touch.

  • 1 cup fresh grapefruit juice
  • 3 oz golden tequila
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger juice
  • 2 tbsp agave nectar, dark
  • sparkling water
  • 2 grapefruit wedges

1. Fill two martini glasses with ice. For each drink, pour in 1/2 cup of the grapefruit juice, 3 tablespoons of the tequila, 1 tablespoon of the lime juice, 1 tablespoon of the ginger juice, and 1 tablespoon of the agave nectar, and stir with a spoon to combine.
2. Top off each with sparkling water to fill the glass and stir again. Garnish with the grapefruit wedge and serve immediately.
Makes 2 servings.
