Golden Sunrise Smoothie

The protein in the chickpeas and cashew butter will fuel you and keep you full for a long time. Turmeric and ginger have anti-inflammatory properties, which is another amazing benefit. Start your day off with this smoothie to become truly energized and ready for anything thrown your way.

1 cup canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 cup milk (your choice)
1/2 tbsp ground turmeric
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp cashew butter
pinch of salt
1/2 cup ice

1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Enjoy!
