Green Goodness Bowl

This recipe requires you to cook the avocados. While that may seem unusual, warm avocado actually adds extra flavor and texture to the dish. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed! 

10 oz bag of frozen peas
1 tsp grapeseed oil
2 avocado, peeled and diced
1/2 cup cilantro
1/2 tsp sea salt, more if desired
freshly ground pepper to taste


In a medium saucepan, heat the peas with a little water and the oil and cook about 5 -7 minutes until hot.

Toss in the avocado and cook 2 more minutes until avocado is just warm.

Season with salt and pepper, stir in the cilantro and serve.

Makes 3 servings.
