Homemade Almond Milk


Make your own almond milk and forget about buying it at the store. This healthier version requires only three ingredients and has no additives or chemicals. Plus, you can see exactly what your milk is made of while saving money!


  • 1 cup almonds
  • 4 cups water
  • sweetener


1. Soak 1 cup of almonds in water. You can soak them from 8 to 24 hours.


2. Drain the almonds and put them in a blender. Add 4 cups of water then blend.


3. Drain the mixture through a strainer lined with cheesecloth. Store in a refrigerator for a couple of days.


To sweeten your almond milk, you can add the following sweeteners:

  • Dates

  • Vanilla

  • Cinnamon

  • Honey

  • Stevia
