1 cup hulled barley
3 cup water
1 pinch salt
1 1/2 cups milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins
Chopped cashews

Bring barley, cold water and salt to a boil. Once boiling, lower the heat and simmer for 1 hour.

Drain barley. In the same pot, add milk, cinnamon and raisins to the barley and bring to a simmer. Stir occasionally for 10 minutes. Top with chopped cashews and serve.
