  • 3/4 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 ripe banana, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)


1. Add milk, oats, chia seeds, banana, unsweetened cocoa powder, and optional maple syrup to a container with a lid.


2. Close lid and shake to mix well.


3. Place in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning, grab your portable breakfast and a spoon!


**Note: If you prefer your oatmeal warm, microwave for about one minute.
