Macadamia-Nut-Crusted Mahi Mahi

Salmon isn't the only superfood powerhouse on the market. The mahi mahi fish is a Hawaiian superfood that is rich in B vitamins, protein, and antioxidants. This dish is thought to have cancer-preventing qualities, as it is high in selenium. Combined with the warm and nutty flavors of macadamia, this mahi mahi fish recipe is a great way to bring the tropics to your family dinner table.

2 oz macadamia nuts
4 oz breadcrumbs
2 3 oz mahi mahi fillets
4 oz butter

1. Use a blender to grind macadamia nuts and pepper. Pour the mixture onto a separate plate along with breadcrumbs.

 

2. Coat fish in vegetable oil then place onto plate containing mixture, evenly coat both sides of the fish.

 

3. Heat the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat for three minutes.

 

4. Fry the mahi mahi fillets, until nuts are golden brown. Remove and place in a baking pan.
