Add flavor to your sweet potato chips with a pinch of cayenne, chili powder or cumin, says Amy Hanten of The Cooking Mom. She also recommends topping the healthy chips with chopped rosemary and sea salt.
1 large sweet potato, scrubbed clean 1 tsp olive oil 1/2 tsp kosher or sea salt
Cut off ends of sweet potato and slice thin. Put in a bowl and add oil and salt. Toss to coat.
Cut out a piece of parchment paper in a circle to fit the tray on your microwave tray. Place sweet potatoes in a single layer on tray. Microwave on high power for 2 1/2 to 4 minutes or until crispy but not browned. Watch carefully and check at 2 minutes.
