Parmesan Chia Crisps

When you reach for potato chips or French fries to fill your savory cravings, you aren't doing yourself any favors. Next time, try prepping these super simple snacks. Made with Parmesan cheese and flaxseeds or chia seeds, these crisps are packed with nutrition as well as yummy flavor to keep you full until your next meal.

  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseeds or chia seeds

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Line a baking shed with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, mix together the Parmesan and flaxseeds or chia.

Heap the mix, 1 1/2 tablespoons at a time, on the prepared baking sheet and pat the little mounds down a little into a 3-inch circle.

Bake for 7 to 8 minutes until they start to brown and start to crisp on the outside.

Let them cool a bit, then carefully remove them with a spatula to a baking rack to cool.

Serve topped with some avocado or a little diced tomato as appetizer or alongside some soup, or just crunch away on them as a yummy snack.
