Probiotics can help maintain your gut health but you can't use a one-size-fits-all approach. Your gut is as individualized as your fingerprint, so it's important not to just maximize the number of probiotics in your diet but also the types. This recipe from gastroenterologist Dr. Roshini Raj not only incorporates Greek yogurt, which contains around 100 million probiotic units per gram, but also a new prebiotic, acacia powder, which causes good bacteria to grow and multiply and bad bacteria to die off. Try it out!

Ingredients

  • 6 oz Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp acacia powder
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1/2 cup blackberries
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup ice

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
