Sweet Potato Toast With Almond Butter and Bananas

Swap out traditional morning carbs with a sweet potato instead. While you may not think of sweet potatoes as a breakfast food, the creator of sweet potato toast and food blogger Kelsey Preciado begs to differ. Her almond-butter-and-banana combo is sure to keep you satisfied in the morning.

  • 1 sweet potato
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 banana
  • cinnamon


1. Slice sweet potato lengthwise into 1/4-inch slices. Add to the toaster like you would bread and toast on high. You may have to toast it twice to fully cook it.  


2. Top with almond butter, banana slices, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
