Whole Wheat Walnut Pancakes Recipe

3/4 cup All-purpose flour
3/4 cup Whole wheat flour
1/2 cup Chopped walnuts
1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1 cup 2% milk
2 Eggs
3 tbsp I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spread, divided

Combine flours, walnuts, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Beat milk, eggs and 2 tablespoons melted I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spread in medium bowl with wire whisk. Whisk milk mixture into flour mixture just until combined; set aside.

Melt remaining 1 tablespoon Spread in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Drop batter by 1/4-cupfuls into skillet. Cook pancakes, turning once, until done. Repeat with remaining batter.

 

Tip: For fun Patriotic Pancakes, pour 1/2-cupfuls batter into skillet to form 2 large rectangular pancakes and cook turning once, until done. Repeat with remaining batter. Decorate with blueberries, raspberries and sliced bananas to resemble flags.
