Take the "Sit" Test
A good way to check the strength of your bones and muscles is to take the "sit" test. It's as easy as sitting down and standing up. But here's the catch. For every time you use a hand to support you, you lose one point. If you can do it unassisted, you get a perfect score of 10. Studies show that people who score 8 or high have a low risk of death. If you score below an 8, try incorporating strength and flexibility workouts into your routine.
