Jamika Pessoa's Thanksgiving Cranberry Sauce

This festive side dish is so good your family will have no idea it was made in the microwave. It takes just 5 minutes to cook and another 5 minutes before it's ready to serve.

1 10-ounce bag frozen cranberries, defrosted
1/3 cup sugar
1 large orange, zest and juice
1/2 cup water

1. Place all of the ingredients into a medium-sized, microwave-safe bowl and cover.

2. Place in the microwave and cook for 5 minutes stirring halfway through.

3. Remove from the microwave and set aside covered for 5 minutes.

4. Remove the cover and stir.

5. Place in a serving bowl or into the fridge for up to a week. The sauce can also be frozen.
