Dr. Oz illustrates the health and anti-aging benefits of water by putting himself in front of a water-balloon firing squad. Drench the doc, and learn how to turn back the clock for free!

Here are Dr. Oz’s water-based anti-aging tips:

  1. Water with a high mineral content is worse for your skin than water with low mineral content. Calcium, magnesium and iron in hard water will dry the skin and cause itchiness and irritated pores.
  2. To avoid dry skin, avoid hot showers and take lukewarm showers that last no longer than 10 minutes. Long and hot showers desiccate your skin and strip off the thin fat barrier of our skin.
  3. Being just 1% dehydrated can cause a significant drop in your metabolism, resulting in weight gain.
  4. People who drink a glass of water before a meal consume on average 75 less calories. Over the course of a year, that adds up to 27,000 calories or 8 pounds! So drink a glass of water before each meal.
